On Thursday, January 23, 2025, Ms. Christina Deligianni, CEO of Verimpact and #EUClimatePactAmbassador, will be a guest speaker at the Department of Informatics, University of Piraeus, for the Master's Program in Digital Culture, Smart Cities, IoT, and Advanced Technologies.
Lecture Topic: "#ESG and Digital Cities"
The lecture will be held for Master's students as part of the course "Sustainable Cultural Development and ESG for Digital Cities," covering the tracks of "Digital Culture," "Smart Cities and Advanced Digital Technologies," and "Internet of Things (IoT) and Advanced Digital Technologies."

Christina Deligianni brings 25 years of experience in public policy, sustainable development and the blue economy, spanning industries, geographies and company types, ranging from the European Commission and the Greek Parliament to international organizations and private companies.
Currently, directing programs and policy at the Institute for Sustainable Development - EPLO, an Intergovernmental Organization with Observer Status to UNGA and an Official Earthshot Prize Nominator, and co-leading Verimpact, a non-financial, climate change risk and ESG management and training company. Running three EU-funded research projects on the blue economy (CoastalPro - EMFAF), deep tech (S3E – Horizon Europe) and climate change adaptation (NeuroClima – Horizon Europe).
She has provided support, including pro bono, to a range of sustainable development and innovation entities, including St John’s Innovation Centre at Cambridge, the EIC Women Leadership Programme (WLP), the Unreasonable Group, and the EU Climate Pact community as an Ambassador.
Christina holds an MA in the Humanities from the University of Chicago where she was a Fulbright Scholar, and a BA in English and Greek Literature and Linguistics from the University of Athens.
